2008 Winter KO Competition [Quater Final Report]
Quater Final report - Martin Lamplough v Phil Motterm - Stressholme member, Martin got his game underway against gaint-killer Phil. He was unable to contain his swing and fell at the last hurdle by 3 strokes. Another Gaint-Killer, Elizabeth Cannon-Walker v Steve Foster - Elizabeth was unable to maintain her form in this round, with her swinging game letting her down on some occasions, was soundly beaten by the underdog Steve by 16 strokes. David Ross v Denis Dove - Where did it all go wrong for David? He had an opportunity to defeat Denis with his handicap advantage but was unable to do so, Denis impressively progresses into the next round winning by 5 strokes. Dave Walker v Billy Gardner - Dark Horse Dave, continued his swinging form by scoring 118, but was not able to overhaul new Tournament Favourite, Billy on his home course who carded an impressive round of 99, Billy continues into the next round by winning 14 strokes.
