TDGS Winter KO 2008 - Update: As the second part of the 1st round gets under way, several players were getting back into the routine after playing their last games well back in September/October 2007! David Ross v Paul Beckett - Paul had an impressive 91 stroke shot round at Norton's newly formed course, but was not able to overcome high handicap David, who won by 2 strokes. This will give Paul is now using new new Taylormade driver to gain some confident back into himself to compete with the low handicap. Could this be Paul's year to impress his golfin colleagues? Watch this space! Chris Teasdale v Billy Gardner - Chris had a reasonable round of 103 but was not able to ease pass Billy who carded a high score of 120 but still managed to win the round by 6 strokes. The match to watch was Dave Walker v Sean Evans - Dave starting the round buzzing with confident from his impressive debut at Scotland last year, could he continue his form into the Winter KO? Sean was making a return to golf after playing his last game back in Autumn 2007 - after a shaky start, Sean started to ease into his game towards the end, Dave come out winner on his home course winning by a marginal 19 strokes! Martin Lamplough progresses into the 2nd round with a bye.
