2008 Golf Social Event
Wii Event (15 March 2008) - It was night of mixed emotions for some of those who attended the event, due to financial reason, it maybe the last possible event Hartlepool Deaf Centre may ever host, unless they come into a financial windfall!
However, it was another successful fundraising event arranged by the Fundraising sub-committee, who raised over £350 on the night! 32 people both golfers and non-golfers entered their names for the Wii Tournament, all proceeding through a knockout stage. Chris Teasdale came out top winner, while non-golfer, Robert Foster was happy to settle for 2nd place. Prize was awarded for the most collected trophy via bets went to the unofficial Middlesbrough Deaf Group, surprisingly formed on the night.
TDGS would like to thank the sub-committee for their hard working effort, and not to mention those who attended to make it another hugely successful night. Well Done and Thanks to all!
